GDPR & Your Privacy Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, data protection law gives you specific rights over any personal data processed about you. DooDooVPN is built to need very little of it in the first place — no account, no sign-in, no activity logs — but the rights below still apply to whatever minimal data does exist.
What We Process, and Why
DooDooVPN does not collect your name, email, or account information, and does not log your browsing activity or connection history. The device data needed to establish a VPN connection is processed only for that purpose, on the legal basis of providing the service you opened the app to use. The mobile app also sends anonymous usage analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase (see the Privacy Policy), based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the app is used. If you subscribe to DooDooVPN Premium, Apple or Google processes the payment and the app only receives confirmation that your subscription is active.
Advertising
DooDooVPN doesn't show ads and doesn't collect advertising identifiers.
Access, Correction, and Deletion
Because there is no account or stored profile tied to you, there is typically nothing to export, correct, or delete beyond what's already described here. If you believe we hold data about you that this policy has not accounted for, contact us and we will investigate and respond.
Objection and Restriction
You can object to or request restriction of any processing at any time. For analytics specifically, you can switch usage stats off at any time in the app's Settings.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe your data protection rights have not been respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority, in addition to contacting us directly.
