No Activity Logging

We do not log, monitor, or store your browsing activity, DNS requests, traffic content, destination addresses, or connection history while you use DooDooVPN.

Optional DNS Filtering Features

Kid Safe Mode, Online Threat Shield, and DNS Adblock are optional, off-by-default toggles in Settings. When one is turned on, your DNS queries are routed through a third-party filtering resolver (AdGuard) instead of our default resolver, so it can block adult content, known malicious domains, or ads and trackers. This only changes where your DNS queries are resolved — DooDooVPN still does not log, monitor, or store those requests ourselves.

No Accounts or Personal Data

DooDooVPN does not require sign-up, login, or payment to use. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal or account information in order for you to use the app.

WireGuard Encryption

VPN traffic between your device and our servers is protected using the WireGuard protocol. Encryption helps prevent third parties on the network from reading your traffic in transit.

Browser Extension

The DooDooVPN browser extension is a separate product from the mobile app. It routes the traffic of the browser it is installed in through our proxy server, so websites see our server's IP address instead of yours. It protects traffic in that browser only, not other apps or other traffic on your device.

The extension does not collect any user data. It has no content scripts and never reads or modifies the pages you visit, your cookies, your form data, or the addresses you browse to. The only information it stores is kept on your own device: whether the VPN is currently switched on, and the response time of the last connection check shown in the popup. Neither is ever transmitted to us.

The extension requests the proxy, storage, webRequest, webRequestAuthProvider, and all-sites permissions. These are used solely to switch the browser's proxy on and off, to remember that on-or-off state, and to answer our own proxy server's authentication request automatically so you are not prompted for a password. The extension never supplies those credentials to any website.

Immediately after connecting, the extension makes one request to a public IP-lookup service to confirm your traffic is genuinely leaving through our server before it tells you that you are protected. That request travels through the proxy, so the service sees our server's address rather than yours, and the result is discarded after the check. If the check fails, the extension switches the proxy back off rather than leaving you incorrectly marked as protected.

Our proxy server does not keep access logs. We do not record the sites you visit, when you visit them, or how much traffic you send. Secure (HTTPS) connections stay encrypted end to end between your browser and the sites you visit; the proxy passes them through and cannot read their contents.

Data Sharing and Sales

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Security

Because we do not collect or store personal or account information, there is no personal data profile tied to you beyond what your device needs to establish the VPN connection itself.

Your Choices

The VPN permission DooDooVPN requests can be reviewed or revoked at any time from your device's system settings. Uninstalling the app removes any local configuration it created.

We may update this policy as our service evolves. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
